Brown Bag Book Club fall selections
The library’s Brown Bag Book Club resumes lunch time meetings with a September 24 discussion of “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee. 2010 marked the 50th anniversary of the publication of the classic novel. The library will screen the 1962 film adaptation at 1 p.m. that afternoon. The movie screening is open to all members of the public.
The book club’s other fall selections include “Work Song” by Ivan Doig (October 29) and “Priceless: How I went undercover to rescue the world’s stolen treasures” by Robert K. Wittman (November 19). The club will meet December 31 for a New Year’s Eve book party.
Brown Bag Book Club is free and no registration is required. The club meets the last Friday of most months to discuss the advertised title. Members may bring a sack lunch if they wish. Drinks are provided.
