Children
4th of July Weekend – Library closed
The library will be closed July 3, 4, and 5 for Independence Day weekend.
Summer sizzles at the library
Wow! We’re already half way through our summer reading program! Attendance is great and everyone seems to be having fun. Best of all, we’re checking out lots of books! Christy Owens of the American Red Cross will be here this week to cover water safety and we’ll show Flipper (1963) on Thursday. The Philharmonic is here on the 24th followed by the Sugar Free AllStars on Saturday the 26th at Lake El Reno. Be ready for some fun music!
The Friends of the Library encouraged us to buy some new books for the children’s and young adult departments, so we did. To view what’s new, click on ‘See What’s Hot’ on the catalog page of our website (top of page under the search button). Select the time frame you wish to view and click search. This feature is so nice!! If you’re waiting anxiously for the latest book in a series, look at ‘See What’s Hot’ first, then log in to your account and reserve it. We’ll give you a call when it’s ready and have it waiting for you to pick up.
Summer Reading Survey!
PLEASE take a moment to fill out our survey about the Children’s Summer Reading Program. Your answers will be helpful even if your children were unable to attend.
We’d love to plan programs at times that are conveniant for your family! Help us by telling us when that is!
Click here to take the survey. It’s only 10 questions!
Memorial Day Weekend – Library closed
