February 15 Story Time Cancelled

The story time session scheduled for Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. is cancelled. We will meet again on February 22nd. I apologize for any inconvenience. Please call Penny at 262-2409 with any questions.

Childrens’ Programs for Spring 2012

Books featuring dinosaurs will begin our Spring Story Time session. The session will be from February 1 thru April 25. Story Time is held on Wednesday mornings from 9:30am-9:50am and is designed for babies to age 5. A parent must stay with the child. Please call 262-2409 with any questions or to schedule your group at 10am or 10:30am. A printable copy of our schedule is availabe here.

Book Connection for the Spring will have kids trying new craft projects with decoupage and mosaics. Ireland will be our destination in March where we’ll learn Irsh legends and look for leprechauns. Join us in April as we learn some interesting facts about China, its people, its history and its culture. A printable copy of our schedule is available here.

Book Connection is a free, after-school hour for children in grades K-5. Programs take place Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 during the school year and include stories, crafts, and snacks. Pre-register your child to guarantee that enough materials will be available.

Learn To Use Your E-Reader Day!

Did you get a new e-reader for Christmas? Need some help learning to use it? Ready to download books from the library?

We’re hosting “Learn to Use Your E-Reader Day!” Come and go between the hours of 9 AM and Noon on Saturday, January 7. Library staff will be ready to help you get a library account set up and download e-books from the library’s online service OverDrive.

What can you bring? Any cords that came with your reader AND proof of your current address (if we need to set you up with a library account!)
