Thanks to the generosity of our local B&B Theater Reno Cinema 8, we have two Diary of a Wimpy Kid posters to give away!

Come by the library before April 31 to register to win one!  Anyone can enter.  One entry per day.

p.s.  We’ve got Wimpy books 1-4 and we’ve got book 5 on the way!  Read it before you see it!

Also, you’ll see a link to “Your Account.” You may log in using your card number and a telephone number listed on your library account.  (Please visit or contact the library to obtain your card number.)

Percy Jackson and the Olympians

President’s Day, 2010 brings the theatrical release of Percy Jackson & the Olympians:  The Lightning Thief. We’re got multiple copies of the book so come check one out today if you’re one of those folks who simply HAVE to read the book before you see the movie!

Also, Beastly starring Vanessa Hudgens and Mary-Kate Olsen will come to theaters in July.  It’s based on a fantastic novel of the same name by Alex Flinn.  It’s a modern-day version of Beauty and the Beast.  Check it out today!

Saturday, December 26

Sunday, December 27

and Friday, January 1 – New Years Day

The library will close at 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 31 – New Year’s Eve.
