Genealogy
The Edna May Armold Archive boasts a collection of over 10,000 items related to El Reno and Canadian County history. The collection includes these items and more:
- Photos
- City Directories & Yearbooks
- Obituary Indexes
- Area newspapers on microfilm
- Maps
The collection is open to the public.
Visitors are strongly encouraged to make an appointment with library staff before visiting the archives. Due to staffing concerns the archives are closed during the lunch hours and after 5 PM. Contact the library via email (library@elrenolibrary.org) or by calling 405-262-2409.
The Canadian County Genealogical Society meets at the library monthly. They offer research assistance in person and remotely. For more information, please visit their website or email the club directly.
